why my android phone search in all contact whereas i select display only google contacts?

In my Samsung ONNXT android phone, i have selected only google contacts to be displayed but matter is this whenever i search a particular contact, my phone displays the same contact twice. one from google account & another from whatsapp account.
this get uneasy to me.
please provide a solution.
