How to turn off voice assistant on samsung galaxy tablet a 10.1

Hi i accidently turned on voice assistant and now i cannot get it off? I have tried everything, i have tried turning off tablet and rebooting but the screen keeps showing voice assistant box and she says swipe to unlock screen which i do, then i type in my password which she says every letter and number i hit done but nothing happens she then says screen turned off i have tried all of the ideas below but nothing works she will not shut off, so i cannot access settings mode or anything else, somebody please help i am going into hospital soon and bought this today to take in with me thank you all in advance
