Why does Instagram crop my photo after snap/taking it?

When I use Instagram to take a picture (whether it is from the inside or outside camera), the photo will automatically zoom in/crop after I took it on my brand new Galaxy S8 Plus. I have no issues with filming. The issue is only with taking pictures. I have re-installed the app multiple times..

I have googled it but I seem to be the only one with this very annoying issue..
If you know any solution: please tell me!
