Why am I having to click on 2 screens to answer my samsung g6 phone

Small lights flash around the edges of the screen with incoming calls. (Like a theater marquee) I must tap the "answer" icon to get to the original "answering screen" When I complete the conversation there is another funky screen that has an ad and also shows the duration of the call
