Has there been an update released for the Lg Treasure? If so, when and how to download it.

I have an Lg Treasure with Lollipop 5.1.1 and I need to know if there have been any updates for it. Every time I check, it says no updates available but my dad, who has a Galaxy J3, just download an update yesterday. I also want to know if I can get Marshmallow 6.0 on here if it is compatible. Thanks.
