Galaxy s8 camera turns vertical pics horizontal in Gallery

The past few days when I take a Vertical pic, I go to Gallery to view, I can see the thumbnail is vertical then it rotates itself to horizontal. When I open the pic, it's also in horizontal. So annoying. I have to hit Rotate right or left in the Edit.
