I'm on my third phone in three years, and the only reason I've upgraded my phone over the years is to get more internal storage so that my phone can function properly. I've gone from 2gb to 4gb to 8gb internal storage in my phones. It seems like the bloatware just keeps getting larger with each successive phone and that this is done to ensure the we consumers have to continually upgrade our phones (and all I want to do is have basic apps be able to function without me having to delete data many apps several times a day). I try to put as many apps as possible onto my SD card (many won't transfer though) and to delete as many unused apps as possible, but still the internal storage fills up.
Anyway, I currently have a Motorola G 3 through Virgin Mobile and I'm wondering whether upgrading to a 16gb internal storage situation would be a long-term solution to this insufficient storage conundrum or if I need to get a 32gb or higher phone. I really can't stomach paying much more than $100 for a phone, but I want the freedom to not have to constantly free up storage.
I'm looking at the LG Stylo or the Samsung Galaxy J7 Perx.
I'd be grateful for any advice.
Thanks!
