i recently picked up an old b&w zeppelin speaker dock. it has aux input 3.5mm plus an oldschool iphone connector.
with an old ipod the sound booms out, great. if i connect my television headphone output to the aux input again its great.
if i use the 3.5mm output of my phone to the aux however i have to whack the speaker to full volume to get decent volume - and that's with the volume control of the android phone set to full volume. i've always found when using headphones that the volume wasn't anywhere near what my headphones can do. is there some kind of hidden option that says ' use this output as a line level output, not a headphone output'?
alternatively is there a converter that allows the usb output of the phone to connect to the iphone input of the dock?
thanks in advance.
