Samsung Verizon Update 2 days ago

My phone had a security update on the 26th. Since them I have google ads all over the place and on my screen prior to unlocking my phone.
Does anyone know how to get rid of the ads and icons it placed on this screen? Very annoying. galaxy s8plus
