My zte warp elite battery saver won't turn on

I recently got a new phone. It's a new ZTE warp elite. I've been trying to turn my battery saver on but it won't let me. It'll give me the option. But when I press on it, it disappears. And when I go into the settings to turn it on. It won't do so. It'll turn itself off.
