The gps icon on my asus tablet has disapeared,when I try to use a couple of hiking/walking apps I am requested to "allow googles location service",I have never had to do this before I simply want the gps function.I have reset the tablet and tried everything.
It seems that an update from google has removed the stand alone gps function and replaced it with there location service which I do not require.
How can I remove this google app and return to original.
