Getting package info failed

I got the alert today to update my EMUI..I then proceeded to update it ,im not sure if something failed during the process ? but now every time my phone restarts or if I shutdown and start it up it goes back to the "download latest version and recovery" screen and it continuously fails "Getting package info failed", when I try to update it aswell as no matter if I reboot or shutdown it returns to that page,any suggestions or fixes for this?
