Will Zenfone AR international version work on Verizon?

I know Verizon will be selling the Zenfone AR in July, but will the currently released international version work on Verizon? I keep looking at the specs and it doesn't seem like it has the CDMA compatibility for 3G or lower, but I believe 4G should work. Is ASUS making a special version for Verizon? I would really like the international version as it is 8GB and not 6GB like Verizon is advertising theirs will be.
