I activated my old Samsung galaxy S6 with a new line of service for my boyfriend. I then performed a factory hard reset on the device, wiping it of all my old data so he would have in essence a new phone with service. According to him he said he could not get pass the account set up with Google because it wouldn't accept his username and that it wanted a sign in from a username that had previously been synced to the device. He also claims that he attempted to log in too many times and google locked him out and said to try again in 24 hours?!?
I've had every Samsung galaxy S3-S7, and I have done a reset on the S6 before just a few months ago when my S7 broke and had to use my old S6 temporarily. I had ZERO trouble logging in and activating that phone, so why is he?
Has this happened to anyone else? Or is he B.S.ing me?
