Android One (Pie) - How To Disable The Lock Screen Wallpaper Filter

It's just annoying that I spend around 10 minutes choosing a good looking wallpaper and when it go to the lock screen to see it, I realize that it's covered by this grey ugly filter.

I only get this issue on android p devices so i guess it's tied to os version.

any help?
