How do I format an SD Card on a Tab S2 8.0 with Android 6.01

I have a Tab S2 8.0 and I had a SD card installed when the tablet was using Android 5.1.1. I've upgraded to Android 6.01 and I love it but I want to format the SD card as internal storage which is apparently one of the new features of 6.01 but I can't get the tablet to show me the option.
Does Samsung's software not allow this?
