why many android apps won't recognize Bluetooth tethering internet connection?

Hi,

My phone WiFi adapter is not working anymore so to keep using the device i had to go with Bluetooth tethering.. But unfortunately almost all my apps won't recognize this blue-tooth connection and keeps looking for internet connection via WiFi or cellular data.

is there any thing that makes me use them over blue-tooth tethering until i get it fixed?
