Killing Apps from Background - especially AccuRadio

After 8 years using the iPhone I switched to Android (Samung S8). Now I am facing several challenges, e.g. killing Apps.

This is the situation:
I installed AccuRadio. Music is playing. I quit the app and using the "Close All" functionality but music is still playing. I know it's possible to go to Settings->Apps->AccuRadio->Force Stop. But this is very exhausting and if I have many apps running and doing different things I don't know which app is doing what. So, I lost control. I just want to kill/close them all immediately. That was possible with the iPhone easily. There I also had AccuRadio, playing music and by closing the the app (double click home button and swipe away the app) the music stopped. That method worked for all apps.

Android seems to be different. I tried to find a special app by looking for apps closing android apps from running in the background. I was surprised almost none of the app was able to "kill" AccuRadio's music. AccuRadio was always closed but music was still playing. I ended up with the app ShutApp which is doind its job good but exteremly slow. In "emergency" sitation I will disappoint me.

It is frustrating but I hope you can help me. It's not only about AccuRadio which is just an example but in general If you lose control of your apps doing things in the background and you want stop them all immediately.

So, what is the best way to close/kill/stop apps from running in the background/doing something in a very quick and simple way?

Hope you can help me.
Thanks.
