why some apps and ads keep popping up on my versung mate 9 phone?

i have purchased versung mate 9 cellphone via online. as i started operating the phone, ads and apps always shown and directly installed. i cant use the phone thoroughly as it stops whenever there is apps and ads coming.
versung mate 9 made in china.
