Hello,
I have a LG G3 with Android 6.0. For my older contacts, which were likely first created on my previous Android phone and transferred, I usually see 3 phone icons under "Accounts" when I view the contact's details (plus 1 Whatsapp icon for some). This duplication is actually quite a nuisance because when one changes numbers, I need to figure out which one is right and which one is old and make sure to remove the old one from all 3 (repeated) entries. I can't seem to find a way to delete entire "sub-entries" in the contact's Edit screen, which is what I would really want to do. The only workaround I've found is to create a new contact with a slight variation on the name, copy only the essential info over, delete the old contact with the repeated info, then rename the new one. Because they are phone contacts, I don't see them when I log into my Google account on a PC.
I'm sure this question has been asked, but please forgive me: it's really hard to find an answer because everything that comes up is about the "Merge" function, which solves a different problem. Any thoughts?
Many thanks!
