Which of the two has a better display in terms of quality, the s9+ or the note9? or are they tied?

Also, from what i see the note can be brighter than the plus at peak brightness, does that come into play only under sunlight or it would boost the colors in a dark room too? I intend to watch high quality 4k videos in a dark room should the peak brightness concern me for that purpose?? additionally, if anybody knows, how do those two displays compare to the mate 20 pro display? (with hidden notch full screen) thanks:)
