Word suggestion, auto correct, and prediction stopped working

My keyboard stopped word suggestion, auto correct, and it wont stay on setting i change it to. It just keeps changing back to no color and no border. But no word suggestions will come up at all. Please fix it so annoying! My phone is ZTE chapel z831
