sync Microsoft band 2 with android

Hey guys, ive been having issues syncing my band 2 with my new galaxy s7. The phone recognizes the band via Bluetooth but the Microsoft health app doesn't. Im not familiar with adroid because Ive been using windows phone for ages. Hope to hear positive news. Thanks
