Ok so I got my Nexus 6p recently. Switched from iphone 5s. Very happy overall.
One complaint is background data.
If i leave my background data setting for me ESPN app turned ON to not allow background data, shortly after locking my screen, the radio portion of the app stops and i have to restart it again. very frustrating.
If i turn off the restrict background data setting, the radio runs when the screen is locked. However, now whenever i try to close the app, the audio still runs in the background!!!
I can go to force stop it in settings for the app or install and app to force stop it but what is the point of that?
on iphone whenever i swipped to close this app it would close no problems.
Anyone have any suggestions?
