why is phone not reading samsung 32 gb sdhc class 10 card?

i just bought a samsung micro sd card, when i inserted in phone it was working fine but when i click on erase all data on card which is available in settings->storage. after erasing phone was not detecting the memory card. phone is saying that memory card is damaged or corrupted.

please help me!!
