what phone company is easier to switch to straight talk

Black screen, white "x", and Galaxy S6 won't charge
Hello all,
My S6 is about 1.5 years old. Since about 3 days ago (Friday, 4/28/17), I've started having this problem.
The phone randomly makes a beep noise, and then turns black. A white "x" appears on the bottom of the screen. Then, the black screen disappears and it displays whatever I was looking at prior to the black screen's appearance.
I've noticed that every time the black screen with the white "x" appears and disappears, my phone can't charge afterwards. I've tested two cables, plugged the phone directly into a wall socket, and tried two different adapters. I've made sure both the cables and both the adapters work by testing them with another phone.
Forums show that other people had similar problems in the past. However, their black screen and white "x" actually stays on the screen without disappearing. And, they don't report any problems with charging. The black screen and white "x" seems to be associated with some Samsung Gear VR app though ...
Using the reboot trick (power button + volume down), I am *sometimes* able to get the phone to charge after the reboot. Other times it'll reboot but still be unable to charge.
Alternatively, I tried shutting the phone down normally (hold power button, select red "power off" button). Same thing happens; sometimes it'll work when I start up the phone again, sometimes it won't.
I've also plugged the phone into a portable charger and the charger would light up, as it normally would when it's charging a phone. Despite the charger lighting up, my phone wouldn't actually be charging.
I've already tried factory reset. I've also tried wiping the cache from recovery mode. No good; problem still persists.
I'm out of ideas.
Any help is appreciated.

Need hands free auto answer
I am disabled from the neck down and rely completely on voice commands. My last phone, a Samsung s6, included an option to automatically answer calls. Now I have a new Google Pixel and this option does not seem to be available. No third-party apps seem to work. So at the moment I have no way of answering calls and am left watching the screen until I lose the call to voicemail. It is a basic requirement that I can answer calls, ideally to my Bluetooth, without the use of hands. Can anyone help?

photos disappearing on galaxy s7??
i noticed there are photos in this specific album i put in my phone missing. they were screenshots but i never deleted them or even touched them all i know is i havent looked at that folder in a long time and when i finally did i noticed a large amount of photos are missing? only in this folder i checked other albums and all the other photos are there. is there a way to restore them?

Can something in my house interfere with my phone?
I've had a problem with my phone for the past two weeks now. It just randomly started messing up. I'll try to send a text, and sometimes it'll go through. When it doesn't, it will sit on "sending" for 20+ minutes. And while it is doing this, I cannot send/receive texts, or make/receive calls. The only way I fix it to work properly is to either reset it or turn on then off airplane mode. Worse thing is, I never know when it is happening unless I try to make a call or send a text.
I've tried everything I could think of. I deleted apps just in case it was interfering with my texts somehow. I bought a new, bigger SD card(the one I was using was about 6 years old and only four gigs)that didn't work. I even tried factory resetting my phone. And I still have the problem. So I decided to send my phone in to get a replacement. And now I am using a back-up phone that was loaned to me until I get mine back, and it's doing the same exact thing. Both phones work fine if I am out and about, but whenever I'm home, I'm constantly resetting or turning on/off airplane mode so I can receive calls and texts. It's only happening to the phones I use. Other family members phones work fine in our house. This is a very frustrating problem. Does anyone have any ideas/suggestions?

Does Samsung ship new phones with the latest Android OS?
I was wondering since the Galacy S7 can be upgraded to Android 7.0, if Samsung ships new models to phone carriers (Verizon for example) with Android 7.0 or will it still ship with Marshmallow 6.0.1? I hope it is 6.0.1 because I don't like the look of 7.0 on the S7 and would prefer to keep the original operating system that it shipped with.

Android Security Patch
I have a Blackberry Priv (AT&T unlocked with T-Mobile SIM).
I recently updated the Android Software to reflect the latest security patch (April 5th) but my device shows April 1st instead, which is giving me problem with my MDM software for work and can't access corporate email.
Anybody knows how to fix this? It is a real pain.

What syncs with sync?
If I have sync activated on my phone and have several different accounts on gmail and then get on another device, will the other device have all the synced data from all of the other accounts? Basically, I have my kids gmails on my phone for monitoring purposes but I don't want them to have info from my accounts. Can anyone explain what happens there?

How do I unfreeze my LG X Power phone?
I plugged my phone in to charge and it went to a Firmware Update screen. Over an hour later it was still at 0%. A small window at the bottom of the screen says "910K B50". I TRIED TO TURN IT OFF WITH THE POWER BUTTON ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE PHONE TO NO AVAIL. On other phones, I'd pop the battery out for a few seconds to force a reboot, but that's not an option on this phone. Is there another way to reboot this?

360 photos with s8?
With my s7 i used to be able to take full 360 degree photos, it was a downloadable option in the camera.
It seems to be gone and only panoramic photos are available.

Why do android products malfunction?
Every android device I have ever owned either froze on me or, just stopped working. For example, I had an android tv box and in the middle of a movie it would freeze and cut off. Or, like the phone I had. It would call people from my list without me even dialing. Why? I could go on and on. But I think you get the point.

Why is do my bluetooth audio devices echo when connected to my S6?
Ever since I updated my Galaxy S6 to Andriod 7.0, there has been a constant echo whenever I use bluetooth speakers, earbuds, or connect my phone to my car. I use these devices mostly to listen to music or to listen to videos online so the echo is fairly noticeable. It sounds as if the audio is being played inside of a tunnel. Is there any way to fix this?

Why is my S6 minimize apps alone?

I have an S6 flat of Verizon (SM-G920V) with android 6.0.1 and NO root, I recently have this problem, some apps (like insta, Whatsapp, facebook, chrome and sometimes default apps like archives) instantly get minimize by itself like im pressing home button (but i dont) i make a wipe data cache in the recovery and solve the problem about two weeks, but later i have installed Twitter and Spotify and the problem comes again (i remove this apps and make the wipe in the cache) the smarthphone doesnt get hot or something when this happens, anyone of you have this problem?

GPS problem

Every word I write on FB gets erased when I hit the space bar or try to swype.
The only place I can write with no trouble is in the comments section ONLY. If I try to write in Messenger or try to post something myself - I can't. Every time I finish a word, it deletes the word I just wrote. I can only communicate with ONE word. This just started about 7-10 days ago and I have not even been into the settings. Making me very mad as I have only had this tablet 2 months

Verizon Message+ Text Message UID

When I click on my text messages within message+, you can view message details. When I do, on all but a few of my messages the uid number is a 9 digit number. However, on two messages I recently sent to one contact this number is displayed as "0". Does this mean this individual has not received my texts even though the message says "delivered"? I have yet to hear back from this person for days.

Unfortunately my phone dropped and the screen isn't working at all which made me research and download sidesync to use my pc as a monitor for my phone (samsung galaxy s6). I've tried to connect my phone to my pc but my pc cannot detect it as a device or driver. There is no issue with the cable.

Problem with the Huawei 5c fingerprint sensor.
After a week of using my Huawei 5c the fingerprint scanner stopped scanning my finger. When I tried to make a new fingerprint id, the scanner said instantly: enroll failed.
After googling for help I found out that the easiest way to fix it is to restart my phone.
After doing that I returned to the fingerprint management menu. Now I cant even click the new fingerprint button. Nothing happens when I press it.
Any help would be appreciated.

How do I delete photos from my Samsung Galaxy S6 after uploading them to Dropbox?

Selecting specific emojis to be on one page of favorites.
Is there a way to select specific favorite emojis to be on one page to choose from? Before the update a couple of weeks ago I was able to find most of the ones I used on the 1st two or three pages. Using secure folder feature on Galaxy S8, I accidentally moved a folder with a name beginning with a dot (.myfolder) to secure folder. The screen came up showing the folder being transferred. However, when I go into secure folder, my folder is nowhere to be found. Can anyone help me locate this folder?

my brand new Samsung 8 plus that i bought not even week a week ago is giving a huge headache.
so i have the finger print and password lock too and now the finger print isn't recognizing my fingers and the password aint working plus i cant turn off the phone to hard reset it coz it needs the password to even switch off the phone. i even tried making mistakes for like 20 times thinking it would take me back to the gmail account and i could reset it from there but no luck with that too. it takes me back to the lock screen even after 30+ times mistakes. what can i do??

Cricket Idol Headphone Jack not working.
My cricket Idol headphone jack recently stopped working, everytime I put in headphones it shows they are plugged in but no sound comes out and I've tried two different pairs of headphones just to make sure and it is the same problem. Why can't i send texts after nougat update?

Why is my quiet time all of a sudden not working?
My quiet time on my phone has worked for awhile but all of a sudden it quit. notifications came thru when am sleeping I am a day sleeper. I went to settings to notifications and everything looked normal. Now today it is stuck on quiet time. And it is past the end of my quiet time by hours. Any ideas? I have no priorities set. Only alarms should sound from 530am to 1230 pm. I have now set to always interrupt with no priorities on. And should I have silent power on or off? I don't know what that option means.

Nexus 6p - All BT paired devices lost
My phone suddenly ran down to 0% from 15% and turned off. Since restarting I have lost all my paired devices and none of these devices can now be seen by the phone.
I have restarted all devices and phone numerous times, no luck, only pairable devices are others that I had never paired with before.

Without a factory reset how can I take admin rights away from 360 security?
I have tried everything and trying to avoid factory reboot. Samsung Notebook 5 (sprint) will not let me boot in safe mode. Cannot uninstall because it made itself an admin and I cannot change. Kicks me out of settings. Phone is a lease so do not want to root... Please help. Thanks

I miss the color text message notification tabs on the People Edge screen for the Galaxy Edge.

Can't move any apps to SD card
My android (6.0.1) LG K8 V never shows the option in the App Manager to move the apps to the SD card. My LG G3 Vigor did this, and many say the File Manager can do it too but the apps aren't present there. How do I move the apps to the SD card without rooting my phone and possibly breaking the apps?

My apps are continually ungrouping on their own. Anyone else ever experience this?
Since my 3-27-17 update my apps ungroup themselves. Its never all app just some. I regroup them and it does it again. It's not always the same apps. I thought maybe programs that were on my sd card were the ones upgrouping . But after checking this out that was not the case. Just seems to be random.

S8 Contact pictures/pop up notification
Anyone else having this issue with the s8: i have pictures set for some contact. The picture shows when someone calls and while im texting them. However, it does not show up on the notification pop up. For example, as i type this i got a text. The notification bubble pops up but i do not know who it is from until i open message. I started receiving this today. When I click "OK" the message bounces back up almost immediately, like a spam.
If I wait for 10-15 minutes and then press "OK" button, then I have maybe 5 seconds time window until message appears again.
Same happens when I click "Try to solve".
Earlier today I had a notification something like "Youtube app might harm your phone".

I didn't really bother with that since I own Lenovo k3 note with factory settings and I had adware for a long time. So I thought that was just a missinformation.

Iris scanner is not working on Galaxy S8
I setup iris scan along with PIN as required. When I try to unlock the phone the camera and sensor are not working at all. Also on the screen it showed "enter your PIN, as required by the security policy, instead of using your irises"

Months ago I attempted to move a set of my photos from my android phone's internal storage to the external SD card. I can't remember what happened but I think that I stopped the process halfway through.
As a result, my 'Downloads > Media' folder on my internal storage is now full of hundreds of folders, and each with a series of folders embedded which I thought represented different dates ....
For example:

23277xx6644@s.whatsapp.net > 1 > 7 >
but then there are some with letters instead of numbers..

They are not only WhatsApp. For example...

When I get to the bottom level of the embedded folders, there is either a single thumbnail file in it, or a single jepg with the corresponding thumbnail also in it.
When I tried to recently review all my photos currently stored on my Android via my laptop, a lot of them wouldn't preview with thumbnails.
Some of the folders contain jpgs that I'd like to keep. But there are about 1500 folders in total, and going through them one by one will take hours.
So ... I'm in a mess.
Can anyone help let me know how to:
a) extract all the jpgs easily (or return them to their original place in my storage system)
b) restore all the thumbnails to the rightful place.
[My phone is a Techno Camon C7, running Android 6.0]

After update, why do text messages no longer save drafts with back button?
My phone updated about a week ago. As long as I've been using Androids, the back button in an unsent text message has always served to save it as a draft. Now with the update, it just deletes the entire thing. I don't like that at ALL. Is this just how it works now, or is there something I'm missing?

Apps I never launched are found running in the background?
Over the last 3 days, when I periodically go to close all open apps, there are multiple apps open that I never launched. The first time I noticed I paid little attention but noted a few of the apps. Spotify, the camera, the gallery, and one other app were listed amongst what I know I had used.
The second time I noticed it I had just closed all apps an hour prior and only used YouTube, eSports, and BaconReader. When opened the app switcher to close all my apps, Hulu and 5 other apps were listed, some of them I hadn't run in weeks. I pressed "Close All" and opened Ghostery to see what the Internet had to say about it. After only 4 minutes of googling I picked the phone, immediately unlocked it, and checked the open apps. "My Files" was now running in the background with Ghostery...

My screen on my S5 is dead and i cant get it hooked up to retrieve data off the internal memory the normal way. is there a program that will read the memory and retrieve the data for me?

Why won't my Samsung Wireless Charger work at all?
Hi,
New to the forums here but hoping for some help with wireless charging. So I recently bought a Samsung Wireless Fast Charger as I'm sick of replacing cables. I've set up the charging pad and it lights up blue, green and cyan but when I place my S7 on the pad nothing happens. I've taken the pad back to the shop and they tried it which of course it works perfectly. Take it back home and again nothing. I'm using the wire I used to charge the device which charges on Fast Charge when plugged in so the wireless charger should at least pick up enough to slow charge wirelessly but it doesn't even recognise my phone.
Any suggestions?

I hate my Avid Z
It's running very slow and rarely downloads, especially with play store. I have plenty of memory and unlimited data plan. Resetting apps and rebooting phone doesn't correct this. I have also tried shutting the phone off. I do have an app called "Secure Settings". I'm hesitant to use this as I am somewhat of a novice with it. LOL.

Renamed mp4 files cannot be converted to mp3
I have a list of mp4 files that I want to convert to mp3. After giving them names (e.g. gibberish.mp4 renamed to not gibberish.mp4) they cannot be converted. I've tried several apps, including one I know can convert similar unrenamed files.

Why wont my phone connect to my wifi
My WiFi was acting up on my phone so I disconnected it and when I tried to connect back it won't do it . I type in the password and when I hit connect it doesn't say anything as in if its connecting not even if there's a problem and right after I put the password in I click the network again and it tells me to type in a password again when I just did . Its connected to my tablet and everyone else's phone in my house hold and works fine .

G3 com.android.com popup problem.
Alright. So. I've been here a couple times the last few days over this same issue and nothing's helped. If a factory reset were an option for me I would've done it already. Long story short. I have an old LG G3 (Running Marshmallow 6.0) that I wanted to get reactivated. AT&T took the SIM and since returning home and restarting the phone the popup "Unfortunately, the process com.android.phone has stopped." I've looked on the internet and tried some things suggested there. Then I came here and was told it wasn't an issue with the SIM, I had an app disabled or something so I enabled all apps that were disabled and updated them and I'm still experiencing this problem. Maybe I haven't worded the problem right or I didn't do the solutions right or something. But I just want help. So I'll try to describe everything that's going on.
Every two seconds the popup comes up and I have to click Ok to clear it. For half a second, the words "No Service" pop up in the upper left corner of where the notifications go. And then the popup comes onscreen. It makes any use of the phone a hassle. Even turning it off is difficult because the popup blocks the power off menu.

Samsung Pay Help
I was at Target trying to buy some snacks using Samsung Pay. At the register it said card declined because the pin was wrong, but it wasn't. Could someone tell me what's wrong?
Also in my rewards it said I bought it 4 times but I ended up not buying any of the snacks. This is my mom's card and I'm worried it will charge to her account even though I didn't buy anything.

How do I transfer contacts from my pc to the sd card?
I have contact on my pc in .csv excel. I have a sd card adapter that i can use to plug the sd card into my pc usb port. What format does the excel file need to be in or does it need to be a txt file? What headers should the file contain if any?

Why does my samsung s3 screen keep going off?
Dropped the phone, screen broke with no working touch pad - bought new LCD display with digitizer - swapped the motherboard over and the phone was working perfectly for around 4hrs... then for no apparent reason screen went black.
Touch/ vibrate/ sound all work - samsung logo comes on for a second or two when the phone is turned on then goes black. Same with battery logo when it's charging.
Got in touch with the replacement screen manufacturer - They sent me a new screen and i'm still having the same problem.
Any ideas much appreciated. Thanks.

Samsung Calendar - Delete All Predictive Text?
Having recently moved from the S6 to S7, I thought this would have solved the problem , but it has not
When I open the Samsung Calendar app, and I am putting entries in to it, and from somewhere, predictive text is appearing. Say for example I start typing Da....various suggestions with da in the description will appear. I need a HD scanner with auto crop function for my Galaxy S6
I want to digitize my albums full of photos. As the albums need to go to my ex-wife, I want to scan at the best possible quality-size is not an issue. I have tried a number of apps, including the Camscanner Pro. I have find either one of two problems:
• The scanned image size is usually less than 1MB (If I should want to enlarge photos in future, this is not good enough.
• The auto crop function often makes mistakes

I was try to open a pdf file instead of dled it but I pressed the wrong button
I'm using firefox for android on an asus tablet. I was trying to view online a pdf file but pressed the wrong choice and now instead of viewing the file with the drive viewer, the pdf is always downloaded. I tried to change the default setting in the app manager but in the firefox app there was no default set and even trying to return to the set default from the menu in the app manager changed nothing. How can I return to the box choice of always and just now? Sorry but I'm not first language english

Galaxy S6 calendar hard to read

When Roaming, Always On Display World clock doesn't work
So with my S8+, at home (US Eastern), the three other cities that I added show up on the AoD screen. However, when I'm roaming, AoD will *not* show the World clock. I can choose any other clock option and it will work. However, World Clock does not.
If you travel a lot this is an incredible time saver.
I tried changing the "Content to Show"
I tried changing Information and FaceWidget - Roaming Clock (on or off), tried changing the home time zone.
On my S7 Edge, the "Home Time zone" never worked. But it was OK since the first clock on the World Clock was the current time zone.
I also tried changing the Date and Time, from auto to manually adding the local time zone.

How do I get my phone to transfer navigation info to my truck?
On the first day that I had my 2017 Silverado, 01/21/17, I plugged my phone into the USB port and a destination that I had set with Google maps transfered to my radio. I was able to see the route and get voice prompts through the radio just like if I had factory navigation in my truck.
Now when I try to do it the destination stays on the phone and won't transfer to the vehicle. When I connect my phone to my laptop with windows 10 it brings up a USB menu so that I can choose what to do with the USB. It doesn't do that when connected to the truck. What am I doing wrong?

Why can't I find the quick memo app on my new LG G6?
My husband and I have the same phones, got them the past couple days. Wondering why mine doesn't have the Quick memo app in it, you know the one that comes pre installed. I have saved notes on my old G4 that I wanted to transfer to the new one. My husband didn't have a problem transferring his, since all he had to do on the new phone is to sync with his email and all his notes from his old phone automatically showed up. I tried going on Google play but there is no quick memo app like the one preinstalled. Only a gazillion memo apps that is not the LG one. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

HTC one recognises charger but wont charge or turn on
Hey there, I dropped my phone on the carpet (a very minor drop compared to other ones that happened) which made my phone turn off. It was charged 50% but won't turn on. As soon as I plug it in the charging sign appears but it doesn't fill up or turn on.
I pressed the power and volume button for 2 minutes twice now but nothing happens.
Is there anything else I could do? I can't get to the battery. I need my phone for work reasons.

Stuck at formatting data (Lenovo A3000-H)
just now i formatted my tab, and when i reboot it, the Lenovo text appears, and suddenly it moves to Android which it removes its body with a core inside of it, and then the core is spinning inside his body. above of the Android's head is a blue bar moving to the left. When i left my tab alone, it suddenly restarted by itself. It repeated for 2 hours. And incidently i pressed a power button, and it says it wanted to format my data. And when i left it alone, it suddenly appears at volume + and power>recovery menu. Can anyone explain to me what's happening??

How can I stop the icon for the tubemate app appearing on the home screen

Why my note 5 screen always get stuck after upgrade to Nougat?
After upgrading to Nougat, my phone always stuck especially when I watched video and when I try to unlock my screen.. it's really annoyed me.. it's still happen even right after I factory reset it and I don't know how to downgrade back to Marshmallow. Please share solution if you have one.

Galaxy Tab A bricked after failed root
Today I had attempted to root my Samsung Galaxy Tab A (SM-T355Y) (6.0.1) using a guide i found on the internet, but the guide was for a different device (even though it said Galaxy Tab A) And has bricked my device.
It has the bootscreen up, but in the corner it says "RECOVERY IS NOT SEANDROID ENFORCING Set Warranty Bit : recovery"
If i try to turn it off, it vibrates, and turns back on.
I cant enter download mode, or hard reset it, and Odin wont recognise it.
Please can anybody help!!?!

Phone Audio not panning

S8 video lag
On any video app whether it's YouTube, Amazon video or Hulu there's a lag on my s8. The audio plays in the background but the video pauses. Is anyone else experiencing this? This along with the WiFi issues is making me have doubts about this phone.

Why does my microphone work in calls but not in media apps
So this just started recently when I call people thru the phone it works fine and speak to text works too i turned it off and on to ask "OK Google" it picked it up the first time but when I opened my camera and recorded a video no sound or anything I asked "OK Google" again and it didn't pick it up and same goes for apps such as Snapchat can anyone please help

Why does my note 5 keep breaking?
So I have had my first note 5 for about a year or so and about a month ago it stopped working. It kept freezing on screens and I had to restart it but it wouldn't let me hit the restart button. So I took it to my local T-Mobile store and they replaced it with the warrenty I have. And that was fine but a few days after I had the new phone it kept telling me the sims card was loose or detached and forced me to restart it and it kept doing it every 5 minutes. So I took it back and they sent me another one again with the warrenty. Then that phone was fine for a few days but it started messing us too. I don't even remember the reason. So they sent me another one with my warranty and now the one I have will not charge. Every time I plug it in it keep going in and out every few seconds with every charger I try to use it on. This is really starting to Get under my skin because I have to pay 5 dollars every time I get a new one. The people at T-Mobile told me to get a new phone that's more up to date but I don't want a smaller phone and from what I know all the other Samsung phones there are smaller. Does anyone have any suggestions ?

Motion sensor still working although it is turned off in settings
So the motion sensor that causes the lock screen to wake and show the time greatly annoys me, and I looked up how to turn it off. I turned it off in the Moto app that came with the phone, but it is still randomly waking up and showing the time? Can anyone please help?

I know this question has been asked before but I couldn't find anything that works.
My phone gets connected to my laptop but when I try to copy files to my phone memory/SD card this error is shown after a few seconds (some times more) of copping:
"the device has either stopped responding or is disconnected"
and after that nothing can be copied.
(Error sometimes appear even when starting the copy. also with some of ports windows doesn't detect the phone at all. )
any idea how it may be fixed?
Phone model: S7 edge, Android 7, Not rooted
Here is what I have tried so far:
-restarting the phone/laptop
-installing/reinstalling the drivers
-installing/using Samsung switch
-using different usb ports
-using different cables
-using different files
-different file sizes (23MB and 800 MB, 23 MB got copied once but not the second time)
-disabling usb selective suspending from windows power options
-disabling windows firewall
-keeping the screen on/unlocked all the time
-enabling usb debugging

My S8+ freezes exactly once a day since I set it up. Known issue?
I have heard about the restarting but nothing about this. Basically if things are quiet for a while I check my phone to find it unresponsive on the lock screen, with an old time. I experimentally held all buttons to get it to turn off and that tends to work (not sure which are doing the trick to be honest). It boots back up with no issues, and I go about my day. This has happened at random times daily and my biggest fear is losing my alarm clock overnight.
Do you think this is a software issue (possible app conflict, possible incoming big fix)? Or should I consider it a problem and work on a replacements while under warranty?

Galaxy S6 Verizon can't open files like movie box or shoebox to download??

Can't find folder that was moved to secure folder

How can I fix my LG G3 from the new Marshmallow 6.0 update?
I have searched everywhere about a problem I am having on my phone but there isn't much about it. About a week ago, my phone decided to update itself to the new 6.0 software and now it is completely messed up! I do NOT know anything about cellphones and I need help. Here are problems that have happened after the update:
1. Home button and notification toolbar has stopped working. The home button does nothing when it is pressed and the notification doesn't show me anything. When I scroll it down shortcuts are missing and when messages come in there isn't notification icon. (only the 'back' button works)
2. Occasionally it restarts itself. When I am on facebook or looking at messages it freezes and then shuts off and on about 2 times until it doesn't anymore. Sometimes when this happens the screen spazzes out and turns blue than shuts off. When I try to turn it on it doesn't and I have to remove the battery for about 2 minutes for it to turn back on.
3. Developer options will not open!! no matter how hard I try!
If anyone can help me I would gladly appreciate it!!

Someone I just met somehow added their contact info (name/number) to my S4 & texted me.
I'm not FB friends with them. I wasn't nearby enough for them to phone to phone add their info into my phone. I was at least 25 miles away. The only reason I even knew who it was is because they referenced a work file. Can they see everything on my phone?

Axon 7 NOT recognized by MacBook
My Macbook runs on MacOS Sierra 10.12.4 and it will not recognize my Axon 7 when connect to with the charging cable that came with the phone.
I have Installed AFT and, after double-clicking on the icon, it asks for the phone to be connected with USB cable ( the phone is already connected to the MacBook)
The same cable worked fine with on my other computer running Windows 7 Pro and worked flawlessly.
Can someone help with the potential fix for me - thanks!!
