my wifi says connected,but all apps that need wifi act as if im not connected to wifi

ive had this reoccurring problem on my huawei phone.Usually i will just turn it off and on again,or take the battery out,and more annoying cases,leave it off for a couple hours.But this time it wont work and hasn't been the whole day starting early this morning and is still not working now.Anyone that can help?
