Why my whatsapp msg pop up on the top

I dont want my whatsapp msg pop up on top please tell me something jis me yeh upar msg khul jata hy whatsapp ka wo off kardun but dont want k bilkul silent ho bcoz there is an option jis se no notifications hy no sound infact... Pls tell me
