I want my s pen to write like a pencil...no hovering action... how do I do this?

when I first bought my phone. I had am s pen that did not do any hovering action...it worked like Any stylus or like a pencil on paper..i had to touch the screen.. I lost that pencil.. bought a new one and it is uncontrollable.. the hover thing drives me crazy
