Can't attach pictures to a text message after the last update. Any ideas?

I am having all kinds of trouble with my pictures since the update a couple of days ago. I can't attach pictures to text, some galleries won't allow me to delete photos, and when I go to add a picture on instagram, all I see is gray boxes where the new pictures are supposed to be, but I can add ones that were there before the stupid update. Any ideas? Can I work around this somehow? I'm not a genius but I am semi OK at dealing with technology.
