Can I use my sim from galaxy S8 in my Galaxy S5

My Galaxy S8 keeps dying when battery is flat and after charging will not boot up again. I have a Galaxy S5 and need to put my sim from the S8 into the S5. However the sim is too small for the S5. Is the any way I can do this with an adaptor or other suggestion.
