When I connected my Note 8 to my laptop, I was told to expect the prompt "Allow access to phone data" or something similar. I'd then click "yes" and the phone would appear in File Explorer on the computer and I can transfer files from phone to computer. However, I never saw that prompt, and as a result, the only thing that happened was the phone started charging. Has anyone encountered this situation? And what did you do to solve the issue?
