Play youtube switches on TV but simple switch on TV does not

I want switch on TV using your Google Home Mini, however it is not turning on, but when I command Google Home Mini to play YouTube Music, it turns on the TV and play song, it is Sony Bravia TV and no chromecast device connected to TV, can anyone help on this please?
