attempt to move device storage onto an micro sd card is meet with "creation failed" notice.

On my SAMSUNG ACE 4, I have tried to move pics. or music from my device storage to the phone micro sd card via 1.my files, 2.device storage, 3.DCIM ( for pics ), 4.camera, 5.press and hold a picture, 6.press options at upper right hand corner, 7.press "move", 8.press sd card symbol, 9.create folder, 10.press ok, and receive a "creation failed" notice. I have tried this process several times, only to be meet with the same failed attempt. What am I doing wrong ? Or is there something wrong with my device ?
