Is there a way to get into my Google Nexus 7 so I can get my files?

Okay so my screen is cracked all along the top and entire left hand side. I cant access my settings because its on the left hand side, it doesnt auto-rotate, so I cant access alot of the features nor my drop down bar for other stuff. I've got it connected to my wifi and it connects by USB but it isnt set for file tranfers so I cant get my files that way. I dont need the tablet so I dont want to pay 100+ dollars for a repair, I just want my pictures and other files. Anyone know of a way I might be able to get them?
