why after updating my android to 2.3.5 in wildfire s, battery level will not show above 50%?

1- I even just bought a new battery but the problem still exist.Can I change back to android 2.3.3? How?
2-What If I change to Android 4.1.2 AOKP Jelly Bean ROM?
