One of my email accounts doesn't synch

I have a Tab A. I have two email accounts but one of them, the default one, doesn't synch. I have checked the settings and they are identical. The last synch on the problem account is 25.11.16.
It's very annoying. I prefer email to gmail because of the way previous conversationsection are displayed.
I have restarted the tablet.
