Unable to retrieve photos taken using dual instance of the camera

I'm using Lenovo K6 power. The dual app feature for camera was turned on (i didn't turn it on intentionally). I took some photos using the second instance by mistake. Now I'm not able to share/upload or retrieve those photos. I can see that photos only if I take open the second instance. Photos are not seen in gallery or through the file browser. I connected the mobile to my windows laptop and try to browse the files, but those photos are not found.
