google pixel 2. whats this song only works in safe mode.

Was working fine then it just stopped. The little bars don't start it just crashes to nothing.
I cleared cache, downloaded assistant again, powered off,reset....
It does show song on lock screen when enabled.
Any ideas?. I sent feedback to google today.
