Will a magnetic connector solve the problem of a loose charging port?

I have a Huawei tablet and it is getting increasingly difficult to charge it. The cable is a very loose fit. I have tried other cables but they are all the same. I have seen these magnetic cable connectors for sale and wondered if this would fix the problem.
