How do I get rid of the stuff that pops up when I swipe the bottom of my phone.

I'm using A samsung j7 prime and none of the information given here helped me at all. I don't have any of these apps everyone mentioned. Someone please help me here. Its a semi circle with recent apps used on it. It's getting me frustrated
