My Samsung S8 just updated to Android 9 Pie and a notification tells me that "WiFi scanning is on. Your device may scan for WiFi networks at any time, even when WiFi is off."
To hell with that. I want this off. I can't find anywhere in settings where I can turn this off this garbage though.
