help t-mobile note 5 incompatible error on pioneer 4100nex

I have tried everything updated head unit to latest firmware, tried different cables including the oem, tried both USB ports, did debugging and even tried different cell phone from friends and still get incompatible error message . My phone is Samsung note 5 running marshmallow on tmobile. Hope someone here can help
