Just yesterday, my facebook app and messenger stopped working, with the following messages being displayed when I tried to login:
Facebook: 'Sorry unable to login. Please check your internet connection'
Messenger: 'Please check your internet connection and try again'
I have tried both internet connections on mobile data, and wifi from two locations. I have tried wiping the facebook app cache, restarting my phone, reinstalling the app, changing the time (a forum said to try this) and still no luck! I can log into m.facebook though on my phone internet app (but this is a big hassle!)
After reading some more forums, one suggested I remove the SIM card, and IT WORKED! I could sign in straight away on both apps!
But as soon as I put my sim back in (with the apps signed in), they both signed out again and went back to the same failure login screen!!
It has just occurred as of yesterday, and all my other apps work perfectly fine!
Any help would be greatly appreciated! :)
