Can I play music from youtube while the screen is locked?

I upgraded to a samsung galaxy s7 edge and I want to play music from youtube but whenever I lock the screen while playing it, the youtube video stops playing and when I open the phone again I have to unpause it. Just wondering if there's a setting or something to let me do this.
