Why can't i customize notification tones for my contact groups on my Galaxy S7?

Why can't I customize notification tones for my contact groups? I used to be able to, but since the latest update I can't anymore. Help! It's driving me crazy. Enough to want go back to my S5!! Looks like I can only customize ringtones, but previously we could customize both.
