should i buy shield tv or pro version

I will mostly be using the shield for streaming movies and listening to my extensive collection of music the i have put on hard drives from my music cd's. i will use kodi or some other app. I probably not be playing many games just music and streaming movies. I have 3 tb of music on external hard drives that i have hooked up to pc and oppo bd player. listen to tidal. No problem to buy another external hard drive to hook to shield tv or play music through my network. So do i need the 500g hard drive version or will the new shield tv work just fine.
