Having major issues with my Note 4 turning off & turning back on is getting more and more difficult.

At first it just seemed to be unresponsive. I had to pull the battery out and then turn it back on. Then it would be fine for a few minutes or even a few hours at first. After doing extensive research and some troubleshooting it is now at the point where when I turn it back on it either won't or if it does it doesn't go further than the Verizon Logo screen. I was able to get into to safe mode at one point and just as I started typing the sentence I had the Android Recovery Screen up but the phone battery died or it just shut off again, but I am unsure as to which one of the options I should try. Can anyone help me please?
