Missing contacts

Most of my contacts on my s5 are missing even though I do save my contacts on my Google account. I ve gone to restores contact from setting>Google >restore contact. I can see from device backup, SM-G900F 584 contacts restored and SM-G360H 84 contacts restored. Tried restoring these contacts to my contact list to no avail. I still see only 212 contacts on my contacts list.
