How can I get rid of duplicate apps on huawei smart watch?? Also need help with messenger app.

When i push the home button and my apps pull up I have duplicates for a couple of them. How do i get rid of these extra?
Also I downloaded the messenger app but when i open it it tells me to download on my phone first. Its already on my phone!!
